When he was assassinated by Lorne following his part in the removal of the Circle Of The Black Thorn, Lindsey McDonald was lost for several months, until he was returned to Earth by Wolfram & Hart in the guise of The Keeper

Much more powerful than before, Lindsey took delight in ransacking Angel's forces, his goal being the death of Connor and the destruction of Angel's team. The final assault on the Hyperion saw Connor die by Lindsey's hand, and he is now set to take over the leadership of Wolfram & Hart and help bring their plans to fruition.
