(Willem Dafoe) - Season Nine

The new head of the counselling firm Buffy is employed by, Charleston & Smithe, Irwin Kane is a rich man with as many private business interests as he has sharp suits. With nobody in the company really sure what forced the old head of the business into early retirement, Kane quickly stamps his authority and gets down to business.

It's a fair bet to assume that there's a lot more to Kane than first appearances would suggest - and why does he seem to know so much about Buffy?
