We've been through two full seasons of Slayage with Buffy here on Virtual Mutant, and a feature length special to finish the whole saga off with Original Syn. Season Eight moved the Scooby Gang to Cleveland, Ohio, to station themselves over the Hellmouth there following the destruction of the Sunnydale Hellmouth (and most of Sunnydale, too... collateral damage, apparently!). A terrifying new enemy was on the rise, threatening to enslave the world one city at a time, and as the team battled to stop it, they suffered loss, heartbreak, tragedy and plenty of action and adventure - business as usual, in other words!

Season Nine brought a fresh set of challenges as the gang struggled to get back on their feet, finding that rebuilding their lives was going to take longer than expected. A fresh foe tore its way into their lives, and the gang found themselves pulled from all directions as new responsibilities began to take over their lives. A plan to awaken the evil lurking beneath Cleveland entered its final phases as the gang desperately rallied to stop it... but who will survive and what will be left of them?
