The surrogate father of the team, Rupert Giles is currently still in England, fulfilling his duties as Head Watcher as the Council is rebuilt, and the daunting task of tracking, catalouging and retrieving the many new Slayers across the globe begins.

As a long standing critic of the way the Council was run, now is Giles' chance to make a difference by changing the organisation from the inside out - but will his relationship with the Scoobies suffer as a result, or will Giles find himself drawn back into the firing line?
