Nobody's quite sure what Jackson Shaw really is, least of all himself! An ex-cop turned realtor who helped Buffy settle in Cleveland, he soon found himself knee deep in Buffy's other life, more so when mysterious powers started to surface, and prophecies started to refer to him as 'The Guardian.' 

What is the Guardian, and will his troubled relationship with Buffy get a chance to begin again before he finds out? And with Jackson now back on the force, how long until his paths cross with Buffy on official business?
