Nobody by day, thief for hire by night, Gwen Raiden has spent most of her life isolated from the world, unable to touch anyone or anything, until recently. Since then, her powers are more under control, and her life of crime is more or less over, unless the price is right. Having had some experience of working in a team, Gwen takes to the new situation fairly well. Even so, years of being alone have left her struggling to form bonds with people, making her a hard person to like, even if ultimately her heart is in the right place.
